Service Opportunities

“Service is a yardstick for the journey of spirituality.” (Society of St. Francis De Sales, General Chapter 23, # 178). This is so because Salesian youth spirituality is active, other-oriented, and committed to reshaping the environment, both locally and globally, in line with the values of the gospel. Therefore, a Youth Ministry Program must include elements to help the students in the school negotiate successfully the various “stages along the way” in the journey of faith. It is our desire that in their service experiences, the young find both themselves and Jesus more fully.
