How To Apply

We are now taking applications for the 2012-2013 year!

The Priority Application Deadline is January 13, 2012.

Step 1: Application

Submit the completed application with student and family information. Applications can be picked up in person during school hours or between 10am–4pm during the summer, or printed out from our website: www.dbcr.org.  Please call the school at 301-891-4750 if you would like an application sent to you via email or postal service or click below.

Step 2: School Records

You need to have your report cards and other school records sent to DBCR. Give the signed “Request for Records” form to your current Guidance Counselor or Principal.  They will mail your  school records directly to DBCR.

Step 3: Two Teacher Recommendations

Ask your 7th or 8th grade Mathematics teacher and your 7th or 8th grade Language Arts teacher to complete the Teacher Recommendation Form and mail it to DBCR.   

Step 4: Essay

On a separate sheet of paper, write or type a one page essay explaining why you would like to come to Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School. (More information can be found at the end of the application form.)

Step 5: Financial Aid Form

A family must provide evidence of financial eligibility. Every family must fill out a PSAS financial aid form and submit the proper verification documents. Please call our office for any questions and see above to print the form directly from this page.

Step 6: Birth Certificate and Social Security Card

Please bring to the school the original student’s birth certificate and social security card. A copy will be made for the student’s file.

Step 7: Student/ Family Interview

Once the office has received and reviewed a complete application, we will notify the student and parents/guardians in order to schedule an interview.
