Admissions Overview


Thank you for your interest in becoming a student at Don Bosco Cristo Rey
High School, DBCR. DBCR offers a Catholic college preparatory curriculum to
students in the greater Washington area who have limited financial resources.
All students participate in a distinctive Corporate Work Study Program. In
addition to the traditional aspects of a college preparatory curriculum the
Corporate Work Study Program allows the students to gain professional work
experience.

A Don Bosco Cristo Rey applicant should be:

✔ Highly motivated and mature
✔ Employable and hardworking
✔ At least 14 years old by the start of the school year
✔ From a family of limited financial resources who cannot otherwise a afford
     a Catholic education
✔ Open to Catholic religious values

The Admission Process includes an application, placement exam, and
